New A1200NG and A600GS Video Playback Feature

The A1200 NG and A600GS will have the new PlayVideo utility in the next free update.

 

With this new tool, MPEG videos can be easily played on AmiBench through either using the CLI, clicking DefIcons or selection of the video files in an ASL requester.  Videos can be optionally played on the AmiBench screen or full screen.

Update installed and it works great! Tried several videos I had on my Work partition and they played smoothly! Thanks for this update!

That’s great !  If you double click a video when playing it will toggle full screen mode on and off

The new UnArchiver is very handy and nice to use! Have experienced no problems unpacking.

Ok, after trying this it seems to use the Host Run feature of Linux/Amiberry underneath ... what player do you use there and how do you pass it ?
