Bluetooth mouse and keyboard
« on: April 05, 2025, 09:29:49 AM »
I have to be honest. The A600GS is not my primary computer. I do use it a lot, and it's manly for pleasure.
I also just have one computer table and one screen.

The screen is shared with a HDMI switcher.

The keyboard and mouse ... well, that's a non-stop switching USBs.
I also have on of those multi-unit keyboard and mouse.
Press F1, it's the computer, F2 my Samsung Pad and I would LOVE to have my A600GS as F3. :)

Is it in the pipes?

All the best,

Jakob

In theory a bluetooth mouse and keyboard should work. But I haven't got one to test with.

Just playing around on my dev machine, I downloaded an app to turn my Tablet into a blue tooth key board. It was fiddly to setup to say the least, mainly connection issues, Had to restart bluetooth on the tablet a few times. End result was I could use tablet as both mouse and keyboard. So in theory at least it should work with a true bluetooth keyboard. YMV

Just had a try with my Ajazz AK820 pro keyboard in BT mode ... after fiddling about half an hour I ONCE got the keyboard to show up but pairing failed miserably ...

I've just tried Logitech Mouse + Keyboard MX - they did show up, but wouldn't pair or connect.
My Creative iRoar connected at first attempt.

Logitech models?
Mine works and connects fine.

However I could not get it to work with a user image. Shouldn't be any differences in this regard but....  the same app connected to my Phone instantly. (though I did need to manually allow INPUT device access) I think but am not 100% sure that both android and linux use bluez as the bluetooth stack.

MX Keys Mini and Pebble Mouse 2 M350s
The don't use dongles, but directly interface with BT.

Just received my A600GS and starting to set it up.
I’ve tried pairing two Bluetooth mice, a Logitech M580 and the Tank Mouse. Also a Logitech K780 keyboard. All of which were visible but was unable to pair / connect.
The only device I did get to connect were my Air Pods Pro.
This was after updating to the latest system software.
