AmiBench Installer issues

I find that the Installer (InstallerNG 1.5) that comes with AmiBench in many cases is not working properly. It starts up and usually it freeze before actually installing anything.
Usually this is resolved by copying a different Installer version (44.10) into the drawer where the install script is.

I found that early on too. The InstallerNG just never works, it always locks up after clicking through to the install process.

Thanks to SkulleateR's suggestion in an earlier thread a while ago, I got this one from aminet and copied the installer file into the C directory (I renamed the installer in there to installer_bak instead of overwriting it though, just in case). Works perfectly now.

This apparently haven't been fixed, I haven't been able to install a single application since receiving the unit, and just saw this thread now. it freezes after clicking through options just when it's about to start writing files.

Just use the Installer-43_3 from aminet as posted above

Yes I did, so now at last I can finally install apps
