A2000 boards available
« on: September 07, 2024, 01:20:50 AM »
Rummaging around my computer room I found an A2000HC8+ SCSI controller
and a GVP EGS Spectrum card.

Does anyone need either of them? I'll let them go cheap since I haven't owned
an A2000 in 30 years ;-)

Would be interested pending further details... any RAM on the HC8? Ballpark asking price for both shipped to Canada (N3R5E8)? I have no Amiga hardware but am thinking about rebuilding an A2000 with a reAmiga board.

It look like 2 MB on the board.
I'll sell it to you on the same conditions as I sold the other board:
$20 plus postage. If it doesn't work, you only owe me postage.

Regards,
Gary

OK, interest withdrawn as I was more interested in the Spectrum card.

Hello,

If I read it correctly, you still have the GVP A2000HC8+ SCSI? I'm interested in it. Mailing would be to Las Vegas, NV 89123.  PM me with a final price and I'll send some funds. Do you do Paypal Friends and Family?

Regards,
Rich.

Yes, I have a personal PayPal account.

Here's a photo of the board I took this afternoon.

Yup, I'm interested. Do you know if a ROM is needed for this board? I see an empty socket. Send me a PM with shipping costs and your Paypal and I'll knock bucks over to you.

I hadn't paid much attention to the board but I do see an empty space
on the right side of the picture. I'd advise checking to see if one is required
before we go further.

In any event, per the USPS website postage would be $9.50 for USPS
Ground Advantage shipping if the parcel weighs one pound or less
(which I assume it would once I find a box large enough and put some
Styrofoam packing inside).

Regards,
Gary
