Messages not recorded

My sent messages are not being recorded and I don't know if the recipient has received them?

Do you mean on the Personal Message feature on Amiga.org?

Before sending do you tick 'save a copy in my outbox'? It should then be in sent items. I find it's easy to miss this tick box because we're so used to typing and then sending on email, Instant Message apps etc.

Odd, it should be on by default, I have never had to change it, it just saves to sent.

Should be fixed. I set it to default.
You can also change it yourself in user options.
