While you are waiting just use AmiFox on AmiBench ... works great :)

I can't download any version of AmiFox. I click on download links below and nothing happens. I tried using many different browsers and disabled all blockers etc.

Also, what version of AmiFox is for AmiBench if I somehow manage  to make it download?

Thanx

I had to download Firefox to download it :) Brave and Edge would not let me, I dont' know why.

Anyway, thank you very much for suggesting AmiFox. Works great!

Did you have to do anything special to set that up? When I tried aminet.net, the window shrank to a small size, displayed the icon and that's it. Other websites won't load properly either.

Any thoughts? Cheers

Try other rendering options (IFF, JPG, PNG) ... JPG has the same behaviour as you describe, IFF and PNG work well :)

Turning off auto-hide for status and scroll bars seemed to correct it for me.

I had the same shrinking problem few times so I am using AmiFox along AWeb now to see which one is better for me. I did not use it enough to try to solve the probleme. Will report if I have more info

Please include swiss keymaps (both ch-de and ch-fr, if possible), pretty pleeease?
Or can I just copy them over from some AmigaOS installation? Are they compatible?

(just as a sidenote: just checked "Storage" to see if they're there... hmm... seems a bit of mess in there, don't you think?: a few datatypes directly in there, 2 icons dirs... why not stick to the dir structure as in DEVS?)

Is it possible to connect a Real-Time Clock (RTC) module? There are some free pins on the board. I'm not always within Wi-Fi range, and every Amiga has the option to connect an RTC.

Do we know which features are expected to be picked up and when they might be implemented? Or is that a surprise for each update?

Request:

1) a forced re-scan of monitor properties to use. the moment i change the display to something different, the settings grey out not being accessible anymore and stick to 1024x768.
2) make the left vertical menu scrollable. it is unusable the moment the display's resolution gets smaller. you can't even reach the reset option anymore. plain stupid.
3) scaling of the menu is bad. even at full HD the tiles of the apps do not quite fit horizontally, needing a scrollbar. this is annoying.

- Ability to make folders in "Games and Applications" launcher
Oh yes, please with sugar on top.

Plus/or:

  • ability to rate games
  • ability to add custom information fields to the game info (i.e. number of sim players, genre, year etc.)
  • ability to make intelligent "playlists" (like in Apple Music) which automatically filter the games for you according the aforementioned (custom) information fields (i.e. "all roleplaying games with more than three stars")

THANKS

Is that in the main menu or AmiBench?  Te oly button that should grye out in the ain menu is the Apply Display Mode button? Have you hot a screen shot?

This is on my todo list. It's not quite a trivial as it ought to be, to do with how focus handling is dealt with and how the sizes collapse / expand when space is not constrained.

They fit perfectly here, but are you using a language other than english?  The width of the left panel can expand when translations using more letters per word are used, like German for instance :-) I derstand that this is not ideal.

i will try and reconnect the smaller display just for the screenshots, need to get it out of starage. i was quite happy with the new 1920x1200 one.
