Amiga 1000 and Wifi modem echos back two or three characters
« on: August 03, 2024, 05:37:08 PM »
Hi, I have an Amiga 1000 connected to a TheOldNet Wifi modem using a cable I bought off Amazon.

When I type AT in NCOMM with full duplex, I see AATT. When I type it with half duplex, I see AAATTT. This happens at any baud rate.
In Term, it is AATT with local echo OFF and AAATTT with local echo ON.

This happens with everything I type. IItt  llooookkss  lliikkee  tthhiiss..

The responses from the modem are correct (no extra chars).

What could be the issue?

Thanks!
