Has any one tried any graphics and sound cards with the Mediator SX 1200?
I mean ones that are not on the tested list.

I have a few graphics and one sound card here.
Sound:-
CMI8738

Graphics:-
Matrox Mystic Graphics card
3D Rage II-DVD 215GT2UB23
Diamond Stealth S3 Vision968 86C968-p

Has any one actualy tried this sort of thing out?

Sure they show up and report in PCIINFO just fine, but with no driver to use them its pointless in using them for anything. Its not the cards that have a problem, its the lack of driver for that card. The system needs to know what to o with them once they are detected. Without that you might as well use them for a spacer in the empty slots of your mediator.
