Problem with PiStorm RTG
« on: July 22, 2023, 07:52:28 PM »
Hi All! I have had my PiStromLite on my A1200 for about 6 months. Everything was working fine.
About 2 months ago I disconnected my HDMI connection and today tried to reconnect it and it is
not working. I can open the Picasso96Mode in preferences and it finds everything just like before,
but when I try to Test a resolution, all I get is a blank grey screen. I went through the "GitHub"
installation again and everything is set up correctly. One thing that was always different about my
setup, even though it worked great. Was in the Picasso96mode, where you choose the Attach to: Settings,
mine always said, "Board0 = VideoCore" and not "Emu64 V6" and still does, but it always worked just
like it should. So does anyone know if this is now my problem or is there an update Emu64 driver that I
need, because I did update my software after setting it up.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Brad Hansen

Hi Brad. Just some questions to help with troubleshooting for now.
1: before you test your RTG resolution do you get the grey Emu68 logo on the screen connected via HDMI?
2: is everything else on the PiStorm working ok? I ask this because I recently removed and reinserted the SD card on mine and it became unstable after months of rock solid stability, until I disconnected and reconnected the PiStorm32 onto the edge connector in my A1200. One of the various symptoms was a grey screen and inability to reset without a power cycle.

Hi Andy, Yes to both your questions. Also get a grey screen when testing in Picasso96mode preferences and
have to recycle to reboot. Unseated and reseated my PiStrom and also pulled  and reinserted my SD card,
Still no change.  Appreciate your feedback.
