Need some Education
« on: March 17, 2004, 04:04:52 PM »
I am tring to find the differences in SSD drives.  What is the difference between a SSD Flash Drive, Ram Drive and USB dirve? What are the transfer rates? Can any of these be used as the boot device?  Nothing specific going on here, more curious than anything right now.  Thanks all.

I use compact flash, it's nice as you can run it on an IDE header.
On my PC's I have used a few USB "pen" memory sticks. THat are really good.
