Patched IDE fix for CF Cards

I've been trying to set up my new IDE > CF Adapater this week. It works absolutely fine if it's the only thing on the IDE channel but won't play nicely with other devices connected; I've checked Master/Slave settings and that's all OK.

After some reading today I've removed IDEFix from my startup, got my original HD as Master and the new CF as Slave using a 2.5" to 2x3.5" IDE cable and I can now get to Workbench (it was hanging before I stopped running IDEFix) but although HD Toolbox sees both drives, I can't mount the partitions on the CF (set as Slave).

I've discovered today that IDEFix needs patching to work with CF Adapaters http://aminet.net/package/driver/media/IDEFix_patches But the IDEfix version I have isn't the right one for this patch to work - I need an Individual Computers IDEFix Final Release, which is no longer available.

Has anyone got any hints for how to patch regular IDEFix?

I need IDE Fix because I run 3 IDE devices, HD (hopefully soon CF), CD and an SD adapter.

Both 3.0 and 3.1 have the same behaviour.

Thanks for the link - I had looked at the site on my phone and didn't see the link.

No joy though; with original IDEfix, the EB_final version and patched EB_final the CF card doesn't get seen.
