Virtual HD in UAE? HOW?????

I have followed the guide HERE but it won't work. I uses WinUAE 0.8.25 and it is not the one, used in the guide. I don't know what i do wrong. In Workbench (3.1) it shows the HD as "DH1 :NDOS".
Can anyone hepl me making at virtual HD in UAE?

Why do you want to use a file as an hardrive ? A directory is much easier and faster..

Anyway, have you tried formatting it ?

I had not read it good enough - I had not formatted dhe disk...

Dont use a hardfile use a real file. A directory.................just simply attach your old Amiga Harddrive to your PC and copy its contents to a folder in Windows................name them the same (Workbench, and Work.or whatever you call yours) then in WinUAE select a config exactly as the Amiga you took the HD from (to make sure it works.later you can change it). select ad a Hard drive and select Workbench and Work. and boot!
