« on: March 12, 2004, 10:21:01 AM »
For the past few days I have not been able to get into amigaworld. I've used IE, Avant, Slimbrowser and Firefox, all give me, "website cannot be found"???
Anybody else had the same problem? :-?

I wouldn't know. I'm not a member of amigaworld.net. Is there anyone on this site who is a member of that site, though?

@Budza

It's a DNS issue with various ISPs.  They've been contacted and should be updating their records, but you could try adding:

69.64.33.58 www.amigaworld.net
69.64.33.58 amigaworld.net

To your hosts file (location depends on what OS you're using)

Yes there are plenty of people registered with both sites. :lol:

Alx is right there have been some strange DNS issues unrelated to but stopping people getting to the site recently.

The IP banlist is empty, so its not that. The site services are running fine.

 :-D
Hate figure. :lol:
