Actually, I paid a small fortune for it myself years ago, I doubt I'll get back anywhere near what I paid for it!

I'm selling it because:
a) I never get chance to use it and I'm sure a more active Amiga user would make better of use of it than me and appreciate it more! :-)
b) admittedly I need the money :-(

Judging by the progress of this auction the demand for these units is quite high.  If DCE made (for example) 1000 new ones would there be a market for them?

Just thinking of SX32Pros, I've sometimes wondered how much effort it would take to fit an 060 to one.

Ha! You have no Idea how badly I would love to do that! ...........I have damaged quite a few CD32's and one SX32Pro.........for the sake of making it more powerfull!.............back in 1999 I plugged a Mac G3 upgrade card into My SX32Pro then into my CD32 to see what would happen.(the connectors were identical and I thought it was a standard)......................well I fried the G3!  boy I was sure glad it was the G3 and not my CD32 that got fried, even though that processor was probably expensive.............I got it for free though :-)

anyways, I want to connect my Full Motion Video Card simultaneously with my SX32.I need a pro's help :-)

also hope to have USB and FireWire some day..........if not.............then I will settle for PCMCIA or compact flash port.it can be done through the IDE chain......................I wonder if that will allow me to use cnet.device through that though? bah.I doubt it! :-)

OK.  I really want to know now.  If £200+/$US360 is the going price for an SX32Pro wouldn't that be a good reason for DCE to make some more?

None the less - congratulations Steven.  Were you expecting the auction to go so well?

The auction is doing very well at the moment, but since the last 6 bids were left by bidders with 0 feedback, we could most probably see this auction relisted again. Only a speculation, as it doesn't mean that they won't actually pay. :-)

If they are deadbeats, it's likely that they've now raised the price a bit too high for serious bidders and thus ruined the auction. We'll see. I hope it all goes legit.

Difficult to say. I decided to take a risk and start the auction at £19.99 with no reserve, and the current price is still not quite as much as I paid for it myself! Still a bit to go before I'll make any money on it.

I have so far had NINE people offering me cash to end the auction early! It's beaten my personal record for "ending an auction early" requests (previously the most received was for my mint-condition boxed FMV module!) but it's not something that I would ever do. I'll bet that by the end of this, I could have sold about a dozen SX32 Pro's... DCE take note! :-D

My thoughts exactly! Although the last few minutes of the auction could change things completely. I don't mind whether the winning bidder has a feedback of 0 or 2000, as long as they pay promptly and give my SX32 Pro a good home!

Still, it would be a bummer if I had to relist it :-(
