Getting my X1000 back on wifi
« on: January 14, 2019, 05:38:52 PM »
Since sorting out a power issue which kept my X1000 out of action for a few weeks, it will no longer go online using wifi (or ethernet for that matter), and I'd appreciate any pointers as to how to sort this out.
For several years it worked fine on wifi using the prism2 device but now when I try to go online with Odyssey I get an error saying "Couldn't connect to the server".
The X1000 shows up on my router homepage as a connected device and it will use NTP to update my clock, it just won't connect to the web.
I wonder if something is missing from my Internet prefs? The settings seem to be OK, but any advice would be appreciated.
