I'm surprised that a.org was destroyed like this...

So was Wayne.. He almost gave A.org up back then...When Aorg was hacked a second time Wayne seemed a bit more "relaxed" about it IIRC he thought of it as a good excuse to build his own forum portal, but he decided to go for xoops instead..

As why Aorg was destroyed.. Well, some people live like this; because I can do it I will do it.. No matter what it has cost another to make, as long as it doesn't hurt me, I don't care.. It's the same type of people who write viruses..

but viruses??? they're so pointless...

1> To show off (even if nobody know who did it the programmer who made the virus is proud of that fact as well.. And some virusses are/were very clever little programs)

2> To creat chaos.

3> To attack a business (some virusses are targetted at a specifick company, normally M$...) because you don't like them/it

4> Because they can....

There doesn't have to be a point, some people really need no excuse to blow somebodies head off, so why would somebody need an excuse to write a virus ?

These problems aren't limited to the computer scene, and probably can be applied to the rest of today's society - more's the pity.
