Extension Cable for Amiga mouse

Okay I have my Golden image mouse that has a REAL short cable on it. If I just go get a DB9 extension from a hardware supplier will this work to make it longer? As of now I cant even use it. You've all seen how tall my tower is and it wont reach my desk from the floor.

Yep, any standard DB9 extension cable is fine. Use a shielded one if you can.
It'll work fine under 10 metres, and probably over, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Af if you'd need it that long :-P
