Does anyone have a copy of MagicMem the companion software for the DKB 1202 8MB memory board for the A1200?
If so, could you PM it to me or send a link?
Thanks.

Update - I've just found MagicMem on LSD Legaltools 143 at this site:
http://www.theoldcomputer.com/roms/index.php?folder=Commodore//Amiga/Compilations/Applications
But I've written the adf and tried it and got a software error. Also I tried to copy MagicMem from the disk and the DIR comes up empty.

The disk works fine.
Here, I've extracted the contents.

That is absolutely awesome. I've no idea how to extract a compiled disk but thanks. Gives me something to go on with. Hopefully MagicMem won't cause an error in my ss. (WB 3.0).Thanks again.

I usually extract them with adf2disk which is in my C directory.
I use the command
adf2disk filename.adf
If you want to make a bootable disk with the files, format a floppy disk, copy the files in and type in a shell
install df0:

I have adf2disk on a CF card in the CF0: PCMCIA port. I type adf2disk filename.adf DF0:filename. It copies the disk directly. (and will be bootable if adf is).
If you used adf2disk to extract the file -where does it extract to? C:? I thought you'd have an error with no destination file type.
How did you extract the disk in it's compiled format so you can see the files and directories?
Cheers

I've opened it with WinUAE :-)
You can mount it there or to a real amiga with this:
http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/DiskImageGui
If it is a system friendly disk it will display the contents.
