wii rgb->hdmi

I've noticed there are cheap hdmi adapters for Wii, could those be used for Amiga?
Better sorry than worry.

I think so... certainly there are some YouTubers that use HDMI Upscalers with video capture to make videos of themselves using Amigas.

If you use the 15KHz Amiga screenmodes (any Amiga without a Gfx card or A1200/4000) then you should find an upscaler that supports RGB analogue or composite if you use the A600/1200 or have an 500 with a composite adapter. I would look for one that does RGB (has a SCART connector) and composite - the composite-only ones are cheapest but I imagine the composite picture quality is not as good as RGB.

thanks.
these are very cheap, like 10USD, wonder if they use RGB or YPbPr or composite.

The really cheap ones have three RCA connectors: Composite video, left and right audio. To use these, the Amiga in question should be capable of producing a composite signal. These are the A1200, A600, and A500 if you have the composite adapter (A520). In either case you should see a yellow RCA plug to connect.

If you have composite output and an upscaler that does composite, then you are ready to go! However if you are not happy with the picture you should consider an upscaler that accepts RGB.

I believe they pretend to be a Wii Component Cable, so YPbPr.

So you'd probably need rgb24 to SCART to YPbPr cables to get from the Amiga to the upscaler. Amigakit do the rgb24 to SCART.
