That is what we here almost 2 years.
I must have  pasation and in Amiga world we now that; wait, wait wait ...

But how muth work is it to read/make a audio and netwerk driver? 2 Years ?
And i understand that money is al so a problem but when drivers are ready then peaple can by the 1222 and than there is money. You understand what i mean.

I d*ont think it is 2 years work. On the other side i d*ont now the situation at Hypirion or Aeon.
There wil be a ( good)? reason for the delay;

But i hope that we will have lucy in 1Q 2018.:roflmao:

Well it takes as long as it takes, and if just a very few people are working on it, it will just take time.
But I too were hoping for a release at this Amiwest event.

2 years is way too long, maybe there are other problems we don't know.
Of they first want to sell a large badge of X5000's.

Also, I can't imagine that the port of OS4.x for the Pegasos2 took more then 2 years.
And that is a gigabit Nic with a different chip as the Previous supported Amigaone hardware.

There are plenty of AmigaOne X5000s for sale from several approved Amiga retailers.

Merry Christmas

Vaporware .

i dont think so. i expect it to get released some day, even if not very soon, especially if hardware production run has already taken place.

the situation reminds me of a product by the same company, prisma megamix. also there seem to be the same difficulties. no matter the competence of the involved, writing drivers for the hardware seems to be too heavy a task. perhaps low level debugging is too difficult?

it may be annoying even elsewhere. it took toni and me almost a year tracking down an issue with aros68k and a4000 ide.

so in the end i think a1222 will find some adopters in the future, but the impact on popularity of os4 and therefore on commercialisation of aeons software, it is supposed to generate the actual return, will be rather limited.

No of course not.
I have see the demo of the Aone1222 on Amiga32 messe in Germany.
It work well en smooth.
Al so Trevor and at Hypirion told us that the 1222 wil come, only there is a delay.
It is not my meaning to be negative.
I am positive for the future and have respect for the company's that working on the Tabor.
It is probably not easy to work for so a little niche market like amiga in this time. It is 2018 not more the golden time at the '90 s.

Happy Christmas for every happy.

The sad thing is I don't think they realize how this affects their product sales.  Well, maybe they do and just can't do anything about it.  Prisma Megamix was one of those products that I couldn't wait to buy.  I was very excited about it.  Then after all the hype and years later, I couldn't care less about it.  Their market is aging, people are going to die out before the products are available at this rate.  :(
