A4000, OS3.9, BB 1 & 2, getting it whenever I try to use unarc and then hitting volumes tab? nothing new installed, system clear of viruses

so unarc wasn't the problem turned out after I downloaded the lha file from my A4000 all was fine.

BUT now I get same error after I try to minimize DOpus??? Snoopy reports that it fails to open dopus.library & 3 tool type issues....boh

80000005 is division by zero. Some component in your system contains a zero where many programs expect a non-zero value.

One reason I could imagine is a font if you use a custom font. Some stupid font makers put invalid values into fields they think which don't apply to their font. For example the font width for a proportional font.

Try to configure standard fonts like Topaz, Helvetica or Courier. If the problem goes away, identify the custom font which caused the problem and delete it.

checked fonts and was using Topaz, messed around some more and snoopy was looking for popupmenu.library so installed it and no more error:)
