two internal floppy drives?
« on: March 07, 2004, 01:08:07 AM »
Hello!

Is it possible to connect two floppy drives internal in an A1200 Tower? If it is, How do I do? What does all the jumpers on the back on the floppy drive mean?

If I understand correctly, the A1200 does not have the select lines to support more than one internal drive.  But, if I'm reading the pinouts correctly you should be able to pull the SEL1 (pin 21, select drive 1) signal from the external floppy port.  All of the rest of the signals are there in the internal header.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
