My Amiga 4000 Tower For Sale
« on: August 20, 2017, 01:10:09 PM »
Hi Guys,

I've put my 4000 tower for sale on eBay. I've included every extra I could find for it. All works fine except for the CD drive and Apple hard drive plugged into the SCSI board. The RAM on it is recognised and the board shows up in SysInfo, so I'm hoping it's just jumper settings.

It's all in excellent condition and I've tested it only last week.

Here's the link...

Does this price seem realistic to everyone, or am I going to end up on the crazy eBay thread?!

The parts would cost more than you're asking, so leave it and see if someone bids. Ultimately, it is worth what someone will pay.

Personally, I would part it out.

It might help if you listed the type of accelerator card and included internal close up photos of add on boards and inside of tower.

Good luck with your sale.

Nice looking system, you might want to post a picture or two of the inside, just IMHO.  Good luck with your sale!  :)

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'll try and take a few pictures of the internals. I'm selling it to help finance a nice shed that I can put my other Amigas in! :) Plus my other consoles to create a beautiful fire hazzard.

It even has a Fusion Genlock! Nice! I edited my first wedding video on one of those, very cool ;-)
