The regular screen modes can be accessed in prefs using the MUIscreenmodes app fount in there. Its just like the standard 3.9 one.

This will not be an issue soon once they release the GOLD3 core. Also this "ApolloOS" is full of things that require GOLD3 and should even be used yet. I have no idea why the guy that released it has done it.

Thanks for the info.  That is good to hear about the ApolloOS, I was wondering since I had to fix and modifying some items..

How legal do you think this "ApolloOS" is? :)

Not at all, on the other hand most Amiga users probably own OS3.9 already.
Second since it's not supported anymore or updated for ages I can't blame somebody put an updated OS3.9 out there on the net.

To get a only half decent config from base install is a lot of work, as i know because i have made my own vampire install from scratch.
I find that a nice thing to do (part of the hobby) but i can imagine a lot ppl don't.
Amiga is addictive coz it is fun to use

Also, for packet radio - check out AmiCom http://ftp://ftp.aminet.net/comm/misc/AmiCom.lha by Gerhard Loder DL3MGQ.

It's system friendly so should work with whatever workbench screenmode you prefer :)

At least I think that's the correct link (difficult to be sure without downloading).  I thought aminet would be back up by now...

I would not be so sure about that, considering that not that many A500 and A600 systems were running OS3.9 before.

The funny part here is that the Apollo project now appears to have its own operating system, which in reality is a pirate OS3.9 distro. It makes them very vulnerable, and even attractive for legal actions. They may even risk the deal they have about the modified kickstarts that Vampire cards ship with.

Anyways, potentially lots of fun drama on the amiga boards in the time coming

Ain't gonna happen. Nobody has EVER shown a document showing transfer of copyright outside of Commodore.

It could equally be argued that 3.9 is itself a pirate distro, funded by the now defunct Escom, and as everybody concerned is a pauper, the lawyers and courts will not care.

No loss = no case

I do not think the Apollo project is part of the Apollo OS distro.  Not sure who is behind that.

Clearly it is the San Fran based company Weebly :)
