Amiga Workbench 1.0 Demos Disk
« on: July 16, 2017, 09:26:59 PM »
Greetings,

I was playing around with the Amiga Workbench 1.0 Demos disk (the one they used during the launch of the Amiga) and I tried out the Music demo. However, when you try to load any of the instruments it asks for the "instruments" disk. I searched my collection of adfs and did not find such a disk.
So, I searched the usual sites as well as Google but did not find the disk in question. I did find an archive on Aminet called instruments and contents matched the names of the instruments in the demo so I thought these were it. I extracted the files on a new adf called instruments but no luck. So I'm not sure if they are not the right format or what the deal is. The demo is pretty early so I wasn't sure what format they might be in.

Would anyone here have the instruments disk that went along with these demos in adf format?

Thanks!

Hi Zipper!  Thank you for the reply. Those disks solved the problem. There was a disk that had the samples that my disk was looking for. I copied them to ram and assigned instruments to ram and it worked great!

Thank You!!
