There's a Cyberstorm 060 on Amibay, but I see someone already declared interest.
A3000/4000 accelerators are usually snatched up within minutes so you'll have to be fast.

You can't do that as that someone would be taking all the risk. I recommend that you create an account and declare interest yourself. There are good deals to be had on there and if you miss this one there will be another given time. How it works is that the first person to 'declare interest' gets to buy the goods, unless they drop out for a semi-valid reason, in which case it would go to the second person who'm had declared interest, or the third if they drop out... and so on.

So damned tempting...
tempting or not, I would look for an accelerator with memory.

The 3640's bottleneck.

Zorro III RAM is fast, but is it comparable to local memory on the accelerator?

Not even close, AFAIR.

I know there've been a few speed tests posted before.  Personally I'd be more curious to see speed tests comparing an A4000 with a A3640 and that 64MB motherboard memory hack and vs. one with an '040 card with local RAM.

Is A4000 motherboard memory faster than memory addressed through one of the Zorro III slots?  (I would assume so)
