SaMBa

What's a good place to find a precompiled Amiga version of SaMBa for the Amiga? I'm wanting to share my PC's CD-ROM drive with my miggy, not to mention all of the piccies on its hard disk.

PS: Samba has long file name support right? Amiga gives me headaches, not reading Joliet on my CDROM
(for some reasons all the newer CDFSs that do Joliet give me read/write errors on Joliet discs, as in nothing gets read, period)
or Win95 Long file names on PC floppies
(KittyWeasel)

Of course. It even has charset translation for those tricky characters like รถ that Amiga and PC handle differently.

If you just want to share PC's folders (CD-rom, partitions..) to Amiga, then it's easiest to use smbfs from aminet. No need to install full Samba, if you don't want to share Amiga's dirs. With smbfs you can mount shared folders to Amiga with just one line in shell.
