Hi all, Can someone please identify that software which allows a spinning Boing Ball in the
title bar for OS 3.9? Thanks Brad Hansen

I don't know about a spinning one (seems like a waste of processing power to me), but you can put a standard one, or a check mark, or whatever else you want in your title bar, with Visual Prefs. ;)

If it's small, it's shouldn't use up much CPU time, especially when the program detects that the Workbench screen isn't the front screen.

I used to run a much larger spinning boing ball anim in the bottom right of my Workbench back in the 90's. I loved it, I used it like a CPU load meter, as when something hammered the CPU I could actually see the anim slow down and then speed up again when the load was reduced. It only ever used a slight amount of CPU as I set the priority fairly low on it so it was no problem. This was on my A1200 with 8MB Fast RAM. It was a very fluid anim. You could load your own into it as well.

In amikit there is a program called BoingBall that does what you asks.
But the name make it hard to google :)

It should be on Aminet though.

NickMan - No that is not it, but thanks.  This program or Spinning ball set in the far left part of the title bar and span (?) when some things were called... Can't remember exactly what.

I've actually found the program I used to use in the 90's. :D

There's a few others too which I found at the same time, one of which may be what you're looking for. I haven't tried any of the others but I see no reason why they wouldn't be suitable.
