Be careful with the Pancakes and Waffles - Eliyahu might move your thread to the Coffee House for being non Amiga related  ;)

Fair enough.  It's 1am and I just got off another 16 hour shift at work.  Thank goodness for a.org to keep me distracted and amused... although perhaps I should have made it 'coffee' or 'sleep'.

Even the latest version of SysInfo doesn't properly support 060's. I know they made a pretty big deal about "4.0" when it came out a few years ago, considering the previous version (3.24) was something like 15 years old at the time. I wonder if there's any plans to develop that further?

It would be nice to see someone pick it back up again, considering it's such a "standard" on Amiga's. :)

Why use sysinfo over AIBB?

Why use sysinfo over AIBB?

Umm, personal preference?  Don't know,  I'm sure others can comment more on this.  I have a vague recollection of trying AIBB back in the day, thought it was unstable and didn't care for it's interface.

It never seemed to have the traction SysInfo did as far as installed user base, your experience may vary.  ;)

I always believed sysinfo had some inaccuracies.

It wasn't very accurate, Sysinfo, for benchmarks but it was very nice for "peeking under the hood". Still is.

It's way more bulletproof because it's standalone, doesn't need anything else to work.
