My old commercial AsimCDFS version had a bad block on the floppy. I managed to download a version - ADK format - to my DF0: Gotex Floppy Emulator. However, every-time I run the installer from DF0:, the installer looks to the SYS: dir on floppy and tells me that I don't have enough space. I assume its trying to install on my DFO? I have tried Expert Mode install but can't get it to redirect to my HD for a new install.
Imho I make my Workbench3.9 partition around 400-500MB. Don't really need it much larger than that and since a lot of programs write to it, I'd rather not risk some old software flaking out because of the size. One of my favorite directory utilities, DirWork, is one that crashes if you try to write to drives or partitions above the 4GB mark, so in this instance I only use it to move files into my main partitions (within the first 4GB of space).
