Amiga hardware stores!
« on: March 01, 2004, 07:23:10 AM »
I wonder if anyone has bought something from these online stores and if you got the goods and if it all worked well.

With other words I want to know your thoughts about these two stores...

Hi :-)

I made some business with vesalia and haven't had to regret it :-)

But I never tried the second one.

I ordered some stuff from Vesalia about six months ago. I paid with bank transfer and got the stuff one week after payment. Delivery is fast but their email reply speed is quite slow..

I personally wouldnt deal with vesalia, they never answered any of my emails, faxes or phone calls, I spent months trying to get in touch with them.

But other people seem to of had no problems with them, so go figure...

I'm buying the Blizzard PPC 603e/240MHz with 060/50MHz and a 64 MB memory module to that card.

But I have not gotten any mail about shipping costs and so on. I ordered it two days ago now. I'm wondering if they really can deliver what they say they can.

For a while ago I sent a mail to them and asked if their store still exists and if they got any BPPC Boards in stock, and they said yes. In my next mail I asked them what models of the BPPC board they have in stock. But I have still not gotten any answer to that mail.

I find it very strange that they can have a computer shop, that never answers on mail. Especially an online computer shop. It appears like they don't want to sell their stuff, when they don't even answer to an direct order from their own online shop.

I really want a BPPC 603e/240MHz with 060/50MHz and I have the money for it, I just want to find someone that are selling a functional card.

/Jörgen

Sorry to hijack the thread slightly, but I ordered some ROMS for Power Computing over two weeks ago, and I haven't received them yet...perhaps the Amiga suppliers take on a 'like it or lump it' attitude, as there are very few alternatives....
