Mindguard! Fact or fiction?
« on: March 01, 2004, 01:11:59 AM »
As many of you probably know, mindguard has been ported to our beloved Amiga platform!
http://zapatopi.net/mindguard.html

Is this #### for real?
Or is it just the rants of someone that needs their psychotropic medication?

Any input?

I'm afraid to install it on mine!!

I think you'll find Mindguard started out on the Amiga and was ported to Linux, as it was the only other OS that doesn't contain secret undocumented psychotronic interrupt routines which would interfere with its working.

Install it! After we featured it a CU Amiga coverdisk one month, psychotronic mind-control amongst Amiga users dropped by a whole 23%.

;-)

Cheers,

Andrew

(...)which might cause erratic behavior, nerve damage, or an insane zeal to follow the signal's message beyond what even its creator desired.

That would explain a thing or two!

*cough*
"Since platforms that engage in the above behavior tend to be closed sourced, it is very difficult to learn how they work in order to circumvent them (not to mention the fact that doing so is being made illegal under laws such as the DMCA). Because of this difficulty, MindGuard won't be available for closed-source, pro-mind-control operating systems any time soon."
