FS: Cyberstorm MKII 128MB 50MHz 060 + CyberSCSI
« on: August 15, 2016, 12:40:27 PM »
Just gauging interest, if someone wants it I'll put my A3000 back together and take screenshots and photos of the boards.

Cyberstorm MKII with 50MHz 68060 CPU and 128MB RAM

CyberSCSI add-on board

1000 GBP for both. PayPal only, buyer pays fees.

:bump:

Only a single view?

If no one in the community wants it I'll put them on eBay separately. Would rather them go to a good home together though.

The thread view count doesn't work. I'm sure plenty are interested. I would be, but I don't own or really have room for a big box Amiga.

Hopefully someone who'll make use of them will want it. I really don't want an eBay vulture to get their hands on them unless I really have to.

@nicholas

yeah, as paul mentioned, the thread count is broken on the site. has been for quite some time now. trust me -- given the hardware you're discussing, there have been plenty of views. ;)

No interest from anyone so far though sadly.

I would be interested, but it is a bit much, especially since I just sunk a chunk into my Note 7 that I am typing this out on.  That and I think of I end up getting another accelerator, it'll be either an MkIII or hopefully a vampire, if they ever release the A4000 version.

Have you tried Amibay?

Feel free to make me an offer mate. :)

I don't like Amibay, it has strange rules that I really can't be bothered learning lol

I visit Amibay daily and I can say recent MK2 including SCSI module has been offered for 700 EUR. MK3 prices are 800 EUR and more. But of course people try first some high prices and if no interest they go down or wait for a better time (right now the vacation time is not the best for selling).

I bet the ebay is the best for those who want the best money for their HW. On the other hand Amibay or other Amiga forums makes bigger chance the sold HW goes to good hands ;o)

Yeah, my current set up is now an Adapter with an 060 on top of the A3640, because my Cyberstorm MKI bit the dust :(  So really I'd be gaining the memory back (which increases performance a ton compared to the Radeon memory + ZorRAM card.)

Would love a PPC eventually (I did buy OS4.1 sort of to play around with, but it's not the same in an emulator...), but holy crap are they pricey for something that could die a week after you put it in!

Ha, I'll have to consider offering up a price.  I do plan on buying a new house next year (don't have the space for all my toys!), so am trying to weigh between more toys, or saving money...

Well I'm sure we could come to a deal if you decide you want it.

If not no worries. :)

Hmm, any idea how much shipping to Utah would be?

I sent a MK III to Germany for $28 so I would assume it would be in that price range.

I can't see it being more than 20 GBP with insurance. Give or take a couple of quid.

Damn, wish we could all still get these for this price!

I'm debating with myself if I should try and wait for a Vampire for the 4000, or track something down when I have the spare cash.  If Nicholas still has this when I've got the cash, I'd be glad to buy it.  I did after all just pick up two HxC Floppy emulators (one for my Atari Falcon, the other for the Amiga 4000D.)
