New PPaint 7.3b for AmigaOS 4.x available on AMIStore

A-EON Technology Ltd is pleased to announce a new version of Personal Paint for AmigaOS 4.1. The new version is free-of-charge upgrade for existing 7.3 customers now on AMIStore Amiga App Store. An updated version for OS3 will follow shortly.

The new 7.3b version is a maintainence release. Additionally, the distribution and installation have been brought in line with the recent Enhancer Software standards, with InfoWindow tool documentation viewing and optional black style icons designed by Martin "Mason" Merz.

If you do not yet own PPaint, you can purchase this new version by either visiting the official website (http://www.ppaint.com) or on the AMIStore App Store.

In 2015, Personal Paint for the Amiga was purchased by A-EON Technology Ltd and is being further developed by Andy Broad, member of the AmigaDeveloper.com Team. In keeping with our commitment to providing new quality software for the AmigaONE X1000, AmigaOS 4.1 compatible and Classic Amiga computers, expect further upgrades and enhancements to PPaint.

Really great! So glad this is continuing to be developed.  I own personal paint that I bought for 68k Amiga years back, and when the updated version for 68k comes out I will certainly buy that as well.  If plans to also buy an x5000 this year also become a reality I will likewise purchase the os4 version.

Actually, I just realized there was a more current version of the program for 68k then I currently own.  My last purchased version was 7.1 I believe and the site has 7.3 so I just bought it.  Cheers!

I think they are planning to update it before putting it on sale.  You can always download IFX Lite from OS4 depot.  I'm pretty sure it's 68k despite what any readme might suggest.  One way to find out I guess.

It is 68k.

The installer says its for OS4, but it installs (I actually have an OS 4 licence) in 3.9.  It replaces-at least- the jpeg loader with a ppc version.  I used the 68 k jpeg loader off Image Fx 1.5 and it worked.

I would hope they squash some bugs-of which there are a few, especially with autofx.
