Hey!

Thinking of getting the Gotek emulator.
Do I understand it correct that any Gotek emulator can be used for the Amiga as long as it has been flashed for use of Amiga disks?

That's correct.

And if you're willing to do the flashing yourself (very easy), it will save you money.
I paid for a Gotek + USB/TTL cable (for flashing) 22$, including shipping.

Yeah, that should not be a problem. I saw a few videos on youtube and it looked easy enough.

$19.63, including shipping here :) not to bad.
