My disks all work the same way as Mike mentions as well. Has the user installed some sort of CD file system? I'd recommend he look for a copy of ASIM CDFS. Its the easiest one I found to get started for people not knowing exactly what to do.

As you can see you need to do it both ways, tooltype and text editor.
In tooltype, you need to edit the "device" field and "unit" field.
In the text editor, you need to edit the CD0's "FileSystem" field.

I was in a similar situation a couple of years back about reading pc formatted zip disks in amiga.
Editing the txt file itself is what helps.
But you need, as Mike says, to SPECIFY the exact config of your computer to get it working.
And of course. the SCSI chain must be properly set up and terminated. or it will newer work out...
