A4000t atx psu?

I've seen several adaptors for the A4000 to use an ATX PSU but nothing for the A4000T. I have an upgraded AT one in mine now since they use a standard AT supply, but I would like to put a nice modern ATX one in. Has anyone done this or does anyone know of a source to see how I would build an adapter?

Nope, thats for an A4000 desktop, I need to setup one for an AT to ATX for a true A4000T

Does not the 4000t just use standard AT connectors? Then just buy a ATX to AT adapter plenty of them everywhere for a few bucks.

The one you linked do not have wires for the power button, how will you turn on the A4000T then?

The one Som linked is exactly what I need. I did some more reading up and it looks like a standard ATX converter will be what I need. Thanks for helping out.

I have a 500W AT PSU in it now, nothing wrong with it other than the power connectors are limited. I want a nicer one that I can add new leads to that the newer ATX ones people use in gaming rigs go for is all.

In 2004 ATX 2.01 standard removed -5V from power supply.

I dont think its used for anything. I know in older AT PCs it was used in some of the audio PCI and ISA cards, and I think bridgeboards used it on the Amiga is all?

How do you find your parts at Amigakit, every time I look they don't have the parts I want or need, was looking for an ACA 500, finally repaired my A500 went to Amigakit and they don't even know what it is or so their search engine says so. I was happy they had a set of ROMS for my A1200 though. In March my Amiga 1200 turned red, then black then red then black, then black, checked my roms it was hot to the touch and so was my CF card, Don't know what would cause a CF card to get hot and burn up but it did. Well got to go work on my CD32 and SX-1. Works with a hard drive, but not with a CF trying to figure out why.

To be honest I would not use anything but good quality PSU's in anything I care about, I have seen my fair share of dodgy PSU fails and consequences afterwards.
PSU's seems to be something many people tend to ignore but it's a cheap insurance

Startech seems to be one of those junk PSU's you should stay away from :/

Yeah, I think getting a good Asus or other higher end ATX with an adapter is the route I may go. My current AT is a replacement 300W that is fine, but I want something with better cable management that another AT wouldnt give me.
