3.1 disk number 2/6

I just purchased the roms and 3.1 workbench disk. The guy shipped them fast and hooked me up. Here's the issue, he made a mistake and send me two copies of disk number one and no disk number 2/6. He has offered to email me the adf file for disk 2/6 but eBay stops any attempt to give him my e mail address. So in my last contact with the seller I asked if he was on Amiga.org. So I am posting this to make contact outside of eBay. Hopefully he will see this and we can finish the deal. The only other option is to mail me the physical disk, that would be the best option but to keep cost down he wanted to do it this way. I have no problem with it and I am hoping he sees this. The guy is a great seller and just lost track of the disk he was packing. Just wanted to add that.

Anybody know how to restore a ADF file to make a disk? I have new roms, a new video card and 3.1 workbench disks, all but disk 2/6. how do I make disks? Been waiting a long time for this and I am still miles away..

You need a utility like ADFBlitzer.  I'm sure there's many other programs for writing out an .adf to a floppy disk, this is just what I happen to use:

If you want to drive to Gainesville I have a full set of 3.1 disks kicking around.  You could bring your 2000 and we could make a party of it, lol. ;)

Easy to send your email address via eBay mail... Open up a paint program and just type your username and email address. Save it as a jpeg and then attach it to your eBay email.

Another alternative and my favorite is TSGui: http://aminet.net/disk/misc/tsgui.lha
(Also supports HDF).

Thank you to everybody that helped with my disk problem. mike what day are you free, I would love to get together and rebuild my Amiga. Did you want to make it a DC amiga group event? I know I have not been active much with my Amiga since the last meeting. Person and health problems have been taking my time. But things are better now and want to get the old girl up and running. So let's plan something.
