The OS4 version is a release version.
The OS3 version is an alpha test build only.
To confuse matters more, there is also Artur's version "NetSurf68k", in various flavours which is built on the Framebuffer frontend.
There is also a build of the GTK frontend which runs on OS4 AmiCygnix.
Well that certainly clears up all the confusion.
I have been using my Amigas manly to do graphics, because I realised that I stopped doing graphics when I changed over to using PCs, even with Linux. Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, and even The GIMP are totally useless compared with Deluxe Paint.
I think I might start a YouTube channel in the next couple of days, showing how to do graphics in Deluxe Paint, as well as some graphics I've already done. It may just be graphics I've already done, because I'm not sure where to put the camera while I'm demonstrating how it works.
I use AmigaOS/Workbench 3.1 on an Amiga A1200, because I can't afford an AmigaOS 4.1 computer, but from what I've seen, people use AmigaOS 4.1 mainly for the Internet, instead of for creating graphics, software, or music.
I don't care about playing Doom on AmigaOS. I wish someone would port the original "The Sims" onto AmigaOS/Workbench 3.1. The games leading up to "The Sims", such as "Sim City", "Sim Life" and "Sim Earth" were all released for the Amiga.
