A1200 Screw Question

On the bottom od the Amiga 1200, there are 2 screws that I'm curious about... the ones next to the lower right and top left foot.  What are these supposed to hold?  I've seen pics with them with and without them so I wonder if people just left them out after removing them (most probable, I suspect) or if C=/AT just decided they weren't needed at some point.

If you are talking about the top left as you look from underneath, then you will see that there is a blanking plate to the rear which you remove to fit an expansion port like the SCSIKit for the Blizzard Turbo and the plate is screwed into position through that hole.

The other is located directly below the screw to the motherboard.
