« on: December 05, 2015, 07:49:44 PM »
Here we are 2 years later and no news. Maybe in the year 2525. What's the problem guys? Waiting for all the old machines die with their owners?

And you can't upgrade software later at will?

And if they sell it with unfinished software then  you will come here to complain about why they sell an unfinished product

Yes, because Amiga users always find something to complain about. ;)   But it just seems like at this point they'd want to start recouping their costs for the hardware; and who knows, maybe if they started selling the cards the software would get done even sooner - think of it as all of us being beta testers. ;)

But what do I know?

It seems there's a few teething problems with the CDDA header! Could be a deal breaker although since my A4000T video/audio module already mixes the CD-Audio then I guess it's not so much of a big deal for me?

I watched this the other night, I always love Dan's videos :)

It's a real shame that the Prisma driver software wasn't ever stable enough when I was adding Primsa support to my ports...it would have been an ideal music solution for classic games (great quality music for little CPU load).

What could have been :(

What he could do is connect the CD Audio header to the A4000 motherboard header, since the Paula Audio connects to the Prisma header anyway.

True, but the A4000's motherboard header has a weird, non-standard pin layout.  I did make up a special cable to fit it a few years ago, but it was very unbalanced, CD audio was very quiet and Paula output really loud.  Will be much nicer when the Prisma does it, I imagine.

NovaCoder, what are you saying? That this Music Card is a dud or that it needs more tweaking for it's full potential lol. ;)
