What about clustering?

When running a cluster one will want an OS that is efficent and small (as far from encumbering as possible).

Dunno about AOS, but as far as I know, it is fast, efficient and small.

What about playing around with clustering for AOS?

Tru64 or VMS, are the typical clustering OS'es out there.

I do realize the ammount of work in this, but hey, wouldn't it be cool?

:)

I think the potential is there in some form, just look at how NewTek did with Lightwave. IIRC you could use up to 8 Amigas in a network to render. :-)
Mainframe: Amiga 3000 Tower, CSPPC233/060, 144+2MB, 36GB UW, Prometheus, Voodoo5 5500, 10Mbit, 24xCDr, OS 4.0 ....Amiga since 1987.
