Not until manufacturers start producing USB keyboards where the CTRL key is next to Caps Lock. Unfortunately this is pretty much the standard these days.

Not until manufacturers start producing USB keyboards where the CTRL key is next to Caps Lock. Unfortunately this is pretty much the standard these days.

It's easy to remap caps lock in software, and personally I think the location of the control key is more important than the bare inclusion of a caps lock key at all. It would be nice if there was just a caps lock shaped control cap, but this is still a very cool project. The colors are just right.

I agree that this is pretty cool, but I too replace capslock with ctrl on all PC/mac keyboards either by software, or if necessary, by modifying the hardware. There are actually a few keyboards that do have ctrl on the right location, and many can be programmed, or use switches to set the location. Keyboards such as the happy hacking.

I didn't count, but that "Happy Hacking" one looks like it has about as many keys as a Commodore 64 or an Apple II. Couldn't see myself using one, personally, but might make for a fun retro project keyboard!

Anyone knows if I can get one of those classic gray/white Amiga keycaps and use it on a Razer Blackwidow Tournament?

If the switches are Cherry MX then my key caps should fit. Just check the space bar and Caps Lock, on some keyboards they connect differently.
