Battlestations!
« on: August 01, 2015, 12:37:42 AM »
@blakespot's post of his desk setup reminded me of a thread I'd seen in another forum, called "battlestations", where people would post pics of their workstation setups.

Don't recall seeing one on a.org before, so here goes a couple of mine:  A2000 at the office (see if you can spot it), and A500 at home.  These are a little old and I've posted them before, should take better/new pics.  But let's see yours!  :)

Oh, and a bonus picture: my A1200 from 2003.  I think I took this pic on my Palm Zire 71 (640x480 resolution!), hence the *ahem* "quality".  ;)

I love battlestations threads! And am honored to apparently have unwittingly inspired this one. :-)

Folks should check out reddit's /r/RetroBattlestations, as well. I have lots of fun there. @FozzTexx is the mod.

So you saw my office setup in D.C. linked in the first post. (Amiga's not actually there yet - dropping the SAM off today!) I thought I'd get my other Amiga battlestation setups in here, as well.

Love the Amiga.

@ Mike

Your A500 setup at home looks great!  No Clutter, no cables, it looks like an Apple showroom designer swept thru your place! (Regardless of how you feel about Apple the company, they do know how to dispalay and market hardware!)  Everything is crisp and part of your life, like new, not 25 years old.  Good job!

Finally added a dedicated shelf for my main A2000 underneath my existing "battlestation".  So now when I'm not using it, it's not in the way.  :)

I've got way too many projects, and not enough time.  :(
