AmigaOne XE G4 for sale USA only
« on: May 28, 2015, 06:49:35 PM »
Noticed this in the classifieds over at AmigaWorld.  The reserve is only $100 so potentially a cheap entry into OS4 for someone.

"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here."

There is a reason why it's cheap... I'd take a wide berth.

"This AmigaOne has an unknown hardware related problem.
It crashes shortly after boot, but I can reboot it a few times and then it runs stable for days."

Then they mention:

"It has the hardware DMA fix, and on-board ethernet and audio work fine."

But later on say:

"Edit:  I forgot to mention, the on-board audio quality is not very good, so there is also an Envy sound card installed."
