Thanks Foul! What I'm looking for is newicon.library... I guess I would have to get that from NewIcons46.lha?  I ran Snoopy on Personal Paint V7.1 (latest free download) and it says newicon.library FAIL. Is this missing (I checked - it's missing) library required in PP/libs or SYS/libs?

Snoop also fails on ADPro... I own ADPro, where would I install that so PP picks it up? ADPro would be cool to have as resident when running PP! Probably need an Assign for ADPro too?

Seems funny that a paint program requires a specific icon library?  No idea, never used it.  I'm still stuck on Brilliance and DPaint when I want to mess around with paint software, sorry!

Also +1 for the Peter K. icon library.  :)

I don't use Personal Paint personally, but perhaps it can load and save Newicons. If so, then that would be the reason why it tries to seek the newicon.library. If you don't use Newicons, don't bother with it. :)

That was gonna be my next question.... Thanks Paul! :)
I installed Peter K's new icons library once & it befuddle the he!! outta me...:confused: so I removed it, which was hard to do. I love my Glow Icons though! :)

I think I'll pop the lib in there just to see what happens... Ver46.4 has replaced newicon.library with icon.library BTW. I'm gonna have to read up on this extensively...

Anyone know how this might work?

Peter K.'s icon.library works with all formats of icon, including GlowIcons.  It just makes the redrawing of them soooo much faster. ;)

In 3.9 all you need to do is drop it in libs:.  Under OS 3.1 you need to use something like LoadModule to get it to load on boot (and replace the version that's in ROM).

I rate Peter K.'s icon.library 10/10, would buy again!!++++  :D

Excellent Mike! I will definitely be installing it on my NEW A2000 OS3.9 Blizz 060 Mega Machine... just waiting on the diodes now coming from China! Man, I hope they're not stuck on a tuna truck in the California Port shutdown! :hammer:

I will probably always use OS3.5 on my A1200.... it's just so warm and fuzzy LOL.
