Nice.  I assume this is only "games that were actually released in 2014", right?  I bought ToG and sent a donation for RD2014 (he has a paypal donate link on his site), so I'm glad to have done my bit to support.  The fiasco with Smurf Rescue is absurd.  He did a very nice job on it.

Wish somebody could tell me how to save the game in ToG, or I might have gotten further in it than I have!  LOL  ;)

Tales of Gorluth is retail.  You can buy it from AmigaKit.

Renegade Deluxe is PD.  You can download it from the author's website (and send him a small donation via PayPal, if you like it).  I'm sure if you google the name it should be the first thing that comes up.

Smurf Rescue was freely downloadable from the author's website, but had to be removed after the supposed copyright holder of The Smurfs threatened to sue him for £2000.  Bastards.  :(  It's all explained on the forums here, just do a forum search for his thread from a month or two back.

That's sad. Not as if it's a booming platform.  And for free as well, not making money.  Does that mean we are not allowed to use the word Smurf?  Perhaps he should have spelt it Smerf.

I think he said he had a total of ~50 downloads.  I played it, it was pretty good!  Wonder if he offered to donate half the proceeds (free) to the copyright holder, if they'd take him up on it?  Haha  ;)  I mean really though, there must be some way to make a legit, licensed Smurfs game, right?

They probably would have sued for double the proceeds.  ;)
