Merry Christmas, folks!
In the next few days, the configuration tool for the Lyra 3 PS/2 keyboard adapter will appear in the Aminet. Lyra 3 allows you to connect standard PS/2 keyboards to the Amiga. Unlike former members of the Lyra family, Lyra 3 is configurable from the Amiga by software, and thus allows you to customize the keyboard mapping as you please, just by running a program on your machine.
Turned out pretty helpful for me as I'm quite picky about the keyboard (as a fast ten-finger typist). Control, CAPS, HELP and backslash are where I want them to be on my replacement keyboard.
The tool comes completely with binary, installer script, multiple PS/2 keyboard layout definition files and guide. In case you have a PS/2 keyboard with a layout I do not yet have covered, please feel free to create such a file (see the guide) and send it to my usual email to allow inclusion it in a future version. (US, german, spanish, portuguese, french, british, belgian, dutch, swedish, finish, norwegian, swiss, italian, canadian and icelanding are already covered).
