@ Gizmo;   A friend had a real commercial disk version. But when I tried to load it, the disk has several errors. So, that one's out, unless he has a back up.

Right now My A2000 has 3.1OS on it. I may leave that alone for a while, since Super Base 4 pro works (even the page editor!). I have an old, real version of Super Base 4, so I am in good shape.
I also have MFF+ (Microfiche file plus) that even has an Extras disk. I haven't tried this one yet, but from the manual it looks promising.

I had completely forgotten about MUIBase. I have that some where too.

But - for things like a family & friends birthday database, a flat filer like FD 3 is fine. I set one up, and it does what I need. However, Super Base 4 will be used more now than I know it works fine in 3.1.

Thanks motrucker! I'll just get the demo and check it out. Yea, I still like some flat file DBs for easy stuff. For the relational stuff I use the evil M$! :roflmao:

I Emailed the owners of Superbase and pointed them at the new Amiga PPC OS. Ya never know.

Me too. Actually i like Access just fine. It is a (fairly) easy to use relational data base. So many Amiga users are M$ haters, they will not even try what's out there. Because I just started going back to school, I got a killer deal on M$ Office with all the programs!
Back to the origin of this thread - I have ended up using Final Data 3 - and it works quite well. This was all over my trying to create a birthday database so I wouldn't forget anybody this year.
