X500 Evo - Beige -
« on: August 21, 2014, 03:44:23 PM »
Hi,

A few photos of the X500 Limited Edition Beige (only five made).

This has the mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Black switches and it's going to Spain, hence the Spanish language layout.

The plastic used is matt (not glossy) has a light texture and beige colour similar to some Amigas. They all come with the colour Amiga "A" keys and colour Boing Ball. The DVD bezel is sprayed by hand using a custom paint made to match the plastic and the powder coating on the aluminium.

X500 Beige and A1200 cases comparison:

DVD-RW bezel:

Powder coated aluminium:

X500 Evo beige and X500 Evo white:

Texture:

Thanks! :)

Beautiful work.

Amazing how close that matches!  Wonder if any of the original Amiga case designers are still around, what they'd think of that?  Looks like it could be a natural progression!  :)
